Classes: High School Marching Band, High School Symphonic Band, 6th Grade Low Brass.

Mr. Sweet is a 1997 graduate of Richland High School.  From there, he attended Florida College, the University of South Florida, and received his Bachelors degree from Abilene Christian University.

Mr. Sweet is currently in his fifth year of Music Education.  Mr. Sweet has served as Director of Bands for the Rising Star Independent School district as well as consulting for the Bastrop and Elgin High Schools.  Mr. Sweet frequently serves as low brass instructor throughout the state of Texas.

Mr. Sweet, also, is very active in the Marching Band activity. In the spring of 2008, he began Sweet Marching, a Marching Band visual design and consultation business. He has served as the Visual Caption Head for Frontier Drum and Bugle Corps. He also has served as a judge for the USSBA Marching band competitions.

Mr. Sweet married his wife Lori on New Year's Eve 2004.

Mr. Sweet's hobbies include playing golf and working on marching band shows.

His memberships include:  Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and
Mu Phi Epsilon.
